Les Puces de Saint-Ouen

Right on my birthday, December 9th, we went to the most famous market in Paris, located near the Porte de Clignancourt metro station. Its official name is Les Puces de Saint-Ouen but the French call it just “Les Puces”. It was my oldest dream to see the market and while planning the weekend we already knew that we would definitely go there. A HUGE territory where you can find almost everything - from the antique furniture and tableware to unbelievable haute-couture clothes and accessories. I personally think that the reason to see that terrific place is enough to go to Paris. And there on the market a nice thing happened to me. After a long walk and careful study of the market, we were hungry and decided to eat in a small restaurant which we saw on the market's territory. There around us were only the French, live music played,  the woman on the wrong side of thirty sang and  everyone  in the restaurant sang that song along with her. Faster than light, the waiters served the traditional mussels dish called Moules a la provencale. So, in general, the mood was very french and all the tables were occupied. Those tables stood in a raw in such a way that you felt the  elbow of the person sitting at the next table. So, they showed us to our table, we made an order and were sitting slightly stunned by what was going around. On our left hand, there sat an impulsive couple in constant  need for our attention. Several minutes later, a table on our right was occupied by a young couple. The moment they sat down, the girl turned to me and asked: "Is your name Sofi, by any chance?" So there on the suburbs of Paris, we got acquainted, myself and the reader of my blog - Dasha. And it was so much pleasant! We had a lovely dinner, drank some wine and continued our search. And, yes, that is how it works in Paris. There are adventures around each corner.

Paris with Love

 My dear readers, I got lost for a while, but this time the reason for me to disappear was connected to the most memorable days of the whole year. For a long time, I wanted to spend several days in a romantic atmosphere together with my husband.  And thinking over my coming birthday, it became clear to me, that I didn’t want to have some loud restaurant gatherings. What I wanted were some completely different emotions. And it was Paris, that embodied all those images that were in my head: us, beauty around us, endless cafes, shops, an exquisite hotel, so to make a long story short – romance…

Looking through my photo albums, I finally settled down to some unpublished photos of our Italian and Bulgarian holidays and it turned to be there are loads of them. And though summer is far behind, I feel like sharing my memories with you. Moreover, these pics make me craving for a voyage to a hot and sunny place together with my loved one and the sooner the better. Let’s visualize!

И несмотря на то, что лето позади, мне очень хочется поделиться с Вами своими воспоминаниями.
